Huayhuash is an impressive mountain range in the Peruvian Andes, known for its breathtaking scenery, high snowy peaks (including Yerupajá, Peru's second highest mountain) and one of the most beautiful tracks in the world, Huayhuash Circuit, offering complex trails for trekking, mountaineering, glaciers, turquoise lakes and a unique experience of the high Andes. The ridge is located near the city of Huaras, which serves as a base for expeditions.
